Sliding Scale

What is a sliding scale?
There is no exact formula that determines what each of us can afford, because income is not the only deciding factor. For example, your relationship with money might also be affected by being a caregiver, your access to generational wealth, and/or the costs associated with a disability.

A sliding scale is used to encourage people to pay according to their available resources. Those with greater financial privilege contribute more, allowing those with less access to pay according to their means. This enables ManKind Project of Canada to maintain its services while maximizing accessibility.


How do I choose what to pay?
The Green Bottle chart below expands our understanding of the affordability. Please use it to determine the level you can afford to spend on events. See below for image description.

What can you afford to pay?
If you need to spend less on ManKind Project of Canada events, please do so.

If you can spend more on ManKind Project of Canada events, please do so.

Your spend will be used to subsidize Tier 1 purchases that sponsor other men.
