About the Event
Greetings Brothers, Lodge Keepers, Fire Keepers, and Dear Families,
It is with deep respect and a strong sense of responsibility that we have the honor of inviting you once again for our Lodge Keepers Society International gathering.
It is here, within this sacred council, that we listen, learn, and discern together — honoring our past, standing grounded in the present, and shaping the future of our work.
This gathering is a time to hear from the HeadMen, to receive their wisdom, guidance, and reflections on the state of the Society of Lodge Keepers. It is also a time for us to listen to one another, to share how our respective communities are evolving, and to deepen our connection to this ancient and living work.
As our world continues to grow and change, we carry the responsibility of ensuring that our Ceremony remains aligned with the diversity of our communities — honoring the sacred while embracing the unique traditions and wisdom of each land and lineage.
In a spirit of balance and mutual respect, we will also extend an invitation to our women allies — ceremony leaders and friends — to join portions of our gathering. They hold a rightful place within this work, and dedicated spaces specifically for women will also be provided, honoring their voice, leadership, and journey.
This year, for the second consecutive year, we will gather in Quebec, Canada, on the unceded lands of the Atikamekw people. We respectfully acknowledge their ancestral and ongoing presence on this territory, and we are honored that members of their Nation will be among us during this gathering.
As confirmations of attendance are received, all logistical and administrative information, along with responses to your questions, will be shared.
With respect, honor, and deep gratitude,
Gabe Ewing
